When family members need to stay in Manhattan over Shabbos and/or Yomtov, to attend to their hospitalized cancer patients, the basic necessities of just a little space to put down one's things, a shower to freshen up, and a bed to sleep on, become rare luxuries.
Zichron Shlome, in collaboration with Kosonier Bikur Cholim, is now funding clean, comfortable hotel rooms in Manhattan, only minutes from Sloan Kettering Memorial, Hospital for Special Surgery, New York Eye & Ear Infirmary and Cornell Medical Centers, which family members can truly call a home-away-from home when they must spend Shabbos/Yomtov with their hospitalized loved ones. Fresh crisp linens. A comfortable bed. A shower before Shabbos/Yomtov. A place to safely keep one's things. Help us make our home-away-from home available to them on Shabbos/and or Yomtov!
