Housekeepers
Normal family routine is frequently disrupted by catastrophic illness. Parents often must spend days and nights attending to the needs of the ill family member, and at times in distant locations. To alleviate this situation, ZSRF funds housekeepers. They greet the children returning from school and fortify them with a nourishing meal. They ease and soothe the children as they prepare them for bed with stories and words of encouragement. They help diminish the pain that is part of this horrific chapter.
